UNLI Yang Chow Fried Rice – Only P70 at Super Bowl of China

We heard of Super Bowl of China’s UNLI YANG CHOW Fried Rice promo so we had lunch there yesterday 😀

Super Bowl of China is a mid-range Chinese restaurant chain where you can get your favorite Cantonese dishes at reasonable prices.

The Unlimited Yang Chow Fried Rice is only P70/person! You get a bowl of Super Bowl of China’s Yang Chow Fried Rice, and when you’re finished with your fried rice, you can request for another bowl of fried rice. Keep going until you’re satisfied… 😀

We paired our Unli Yang Chow with some of Super Bowl of China’s popular dishes (more on those below).

The Yang Chow Fried Rice had lots of egg, char siu pork pieces and shrimp 

The Unli Yang Chow is available from Mondays to Fridays only, 11am – 2pm and 6pm – 8pm, until March 30, 2018.

It’s available at Super Bowl of China branches: SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, Eastwood,
Robinsons Malate and Festival Mall.

THE FOOD

We went to the SM Megamall branch. It’s located at the 4th Floor, Atrium. Service was attentive, the staff recommended dishes that would pair well with the Yang Chow Fried Rice.

The food arrived quickly – within minutes upon ordering.

For appetizers, we had some Hakaw (P160). We also tried one of their new items, the Asado and Egg Rolls (P120).

I liked the Asado and Egg Rolls – they are very similar to Lumpiang Shanghai, but instead of a ground pork filling, it was filled with lots of pork asado pieces, scrambled eggs, and thinly sliced vegetables like cabbage and carrots. It was served with sweet and sour sauce on the side.

We ordered one of their bestsellers – the Super Bowl Lemon Chicken (P270) – tender chicken fillets, battered and fried until crisp, sliced and generously drizzled with lemon sauce.

We also got some Steamed Fish Fillet in Garlic (P275) for something healthier. They use cream dory fish fillet for this dish. Steamed fish with lots of garlic is one of my favorite healthy dishes.

And just because I was curious, we also ordered the Hong Kong Style Spicy Shrimp (P350) – it’s crispy-fried shrimp mixed with sliced green chilies, sliced green bell peppers, plump fried black beans (tausi), and toasted spicy panko breadcrumbs for crunch. Spicy, salty, crunchy, springy shrimp – there are a lot of different flavors and textures going on here, but the combination works.

We picked these dishes because we thought they wouldn’t overpower the Yang Chow fried rice, but you’re free to order the dishes you want to pair with the fried rice. You do you! 🙂 I hear the Sweet & Sour Pork and the BBQ Pork Asado are also bestsellers. I’ll be trying some Hunan Beef next time, I saw a photo of it and it looked tempting.

For dessert, we had some Mango Sago (P95) and Mango Pudding (P95).
