BEAUTY FOR EVERY BUDGET
It used to be that you could only find certain makeup and skincare brands in exclusive shops or online, but now, SM Beauty has got it all for you! Hahaha 😀
Aside from the usual makeup brands they have like Maybelline, L’Oreal, Nyx, Colorgirl, Revlon, Sleek Makeup, Nichido, Ever Bilena, they also have MAC, Shiseido, Benefit, Guerlain, Kiehl’s, etc…
Fragrances from Jimmy Choo, Calvin Klein, Bvlgari, Issey Miyake, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, among others, are also available. What’s your favorite scent? I like Grace by Philosophy and Daisy by Marc Jacobs.
A few days ago, we went on a Beauty Hop at SM Beauty and there is so much beauty stuff, any beauty junkie would go nuts 🙂 There is something for every budget – whether you are buying Christmas gifts for friends and relatives, or buying gifts for yourself!
There are makeup and skincare gift sets for every budget, too, from Pond’s, Olay, Nyx, Pixi by Petra, Shiseido, Elizabeth Arden, Kiehl’s and more.
I particularly liked this one from Pixi by Petra because it is a good starting point for someone just building their makeup collection. It has a moisturizer, a neutral, all-in-one palette that has blush, contour and highlight colors that can also double as eyeshadow. It also includes a peachy pink MLBB (my lips but better), easy to wear shade of liquid lipstick, and a setting spray that helps makeup stay all day! This is also a great set to bring for travel. All you need is powder / foundation and an eyebrow kit, maybe mascara, and you’re set!
Pixi by Petra is known as a better quality drugstore brand – it’s a little more expensive than other drugstore brands, but their products have much better quality. I also got a small tube of the Pixi Flawless and Poreless Primer and I have only swatched it on my hand and I’m really liking it so far. Out of all the primers I have tried, this one by Pixi seems to be the best in terms of texture (thick) and coverage. I plan to test it out later.
I am also liking the Flormar Illuminating Primer Make-up Base. I’ve used it once and so far, I think it has kept my makeup from oxidizing. I just feel like my foundation and powder didn’t oxidize like they usually do. The Flormar primer feels just like a moisturizer – not thick or silicone-y.
Other things I am also liking from my haul are the VMV dye-free lipstick in the shade My Girl, Ofra lipstick in shade #08, and KATE Tokyo mousse BB.
