If you are hosting one of the many parties happening this holiday season, chances are you’re in need of some new recipe for drinks to serve.
Cranberry juice has always been a Christmas-sy type of drink, but instead of just pouring out plain cranberry juice, why not gussy it up a little?
I am actually planning to serve a cranberry mocktail as the non-alcholic punch at our Noche Buena family get-together, so I am happy that Old Orchard shared their Old Orchard Sparkling Cranberry Punch Mocktail Recipe.
Old Orchard Sparkling Cranberry Punch Mocktail Recipe
1. Combine 2 cups of Old Orchard Cranberry Juice w/ 1 tbsp. of lemon juice
2. Stir in 1 cup of sparkling water.
3. Chill and serve
I tested this recipe and it’s easy to replicate on a bigger scale. It’s good enough on its own, but if you prefer your drink sweeter, you may add some sugar syrup to taste. Or you may use Sprite or 7-Up instead of sparkling water for a sweeter punch. Since I was testing the flavor, I just used water instead of sparkling water because I didn’t have any on hand. I also added some mint for a bit of minty freshness, as well as for decoration (since we have some mint plants). On the day itself, I will probably add some fruits so that it will look like the photo above 🙂
Old Orchard’s Sparkling Cranberry Punch is a wholesome drink that goes well with all your favorite holiday food. Not only is this concoction berry-licious, it also packs a punch. Several studies mention that cranberry juice helps reduce the risk of UTIs. The properties present in cranberry help prevent bacteria in the urinary tract. It is also rich in Vitamin C and dietary fiber that are known to prevent cancer and heart disease. This Sparkling Cranberry Punch is the festive drink that the whole family will enjoy.
