This is the best burger I’ve ever had under P500 – only P285 for the single patty, and P385 for the double patty.
Nanka’s Premium Angus Burger
Nanka Japanese Steakhouse, located in Mother Ignacia corner Don A. Roces in Quezon City, (former location of Moomba), is known for their excellent steaks. But not everyone can spend thousands on steaks, especially during these times, so Chef Mike has developed a range of burgers that are easier on the pocket.
There are three burgers – beef, chicken and ebi (shrimp) 🙂
The quarter pound beef patties are 100% Angus beef – a mix of brisket and ribeye, single ground (only ground one time). Chef Mike insists on using ribeye to make the burgers, and that is what sets this burger apart in terms of juiciness and flavor. The beef was well-seasoned & juicy, with no extenders, no litid, etc..
I was able to try their Ebi & Chicken burgers as well and both are equally delicious. It’s so difficult to choose the one I liked best! I guess it all comes down to what you are in the mood for ?
They make their own brioche buns for the beef burger. They also developed different versions of the bun for the chicken burger and for the ebi burger. This is to make sure the buns are perfect for the burgers they will be used with. The buns were also developed to be able to withstand delivery, so your burger won’t arrive soggy.

I ordered the double patty but I was already full after eating only half of it! ? The burger has some jalapeno slices, which I don’t mind, but you can ask them not to put any if you don’t like them.

If you order 2 burgers, it’s cheaper – only P545 for 2 single patty beef burgers instead of P570, and P735 for 2 double patty burgers.
