Li Li New World Hotel Manila Bay Dimsum All You Can

New World Hotel Manila Bay, the #1 hotel in Manila on TripAdvisor, is celebrating their 15th year anniversary for the whole month of September.

We recently had lunch at Li Li, on the fifth floor of New World Manila Bay, to check out their newest promo – the Dimsum-All-You-Can is now only P915/person nett from P1,088. The promo price will be available for September.

LI LI’S DIMSUM-ALL-YOU-CAN

The one thing at Li Li that is etched on my mind forever is their Barbecue Pork Baked Puff Pastry! It is my reason for going to Li Li πŸ˜€

Li Li Dimsum Barbecue Pork Puff Pastry

It is sweet & savory Chinese-style pork barbecue encased in a soft, buttery and flaky puff pastry shell.

I can eat only this for my whole Dimsum-All-You-Can meal and I would be happy. But of course, I had to try the other offerings, too. Good thing I did, because I discovered more to love!

Li Li offers the Dimsum-All-You-Can from 12 noon to 2:30pm, Monday to Sunday. Hotel parking is available and you can have your hotel parking validated at Li Li for 3 hours’ parking.

You don’t need to order everything all at once. Just order your initial round, and then you can make additional orders for your next rounds πŸ™‚ They cook to order. All the orders arrive freshly cooked / made. Just keep that in mind because the orders do take time to cook, but the wait is not too long.

Unlike other places where they may limit the order of more expensive items to one order per person, Li Li’s Dimsum-All-You-Can does not impose any limits on the number of orders you can make. The only “restrictions” are the no leftovers, no sharing and no take-away policies they have in place.

Another must-order is the Har Gow (Shrimp Dumpling) – Li Li’s is filled with fresh, big, whole, springy shrimp.

Here are some of our other orders. Someone else was ordering for the group so I wasn’t able to keep track of the names of the dishes, but they were all up to par.

Li Li changes up their menu every few months so diners won’t get bored, but keeps the favorites like the Barbecue Pork Puff Pastry and the Har Gow.

When it comes to dessert, the stand out for me was this Mango Pudding (P288). Sadly, it’s not included in the Dimsum-All-You-Can, but you may order it a la carte. πŸ™‚

For the desserts included in the Dimsum-All-You-Can, we had the Buchi and the Brown Chocolate Dumpling, which is a soft, peanut-coated buchi with a chocolate filling πŸ™‚

I also enjoyed this Hot Taro:

SUMMARY

For me, the #1 reason to go to Li Li is the Barbecue Pork Puff Pastry πŸ™‚ But the other items on the menu are also very good, using fresh, quality ingredients that are expertly cooked to order.

Another reason I like Li Li are the opulent interiors. I remember they used to have real silver flatware. I took note of it because it was rare. And yes, there is a difference. For me, real silver flatware does not have a metallic taste, unlike regular stainless utensils. Alas, I was told that many of those have gone missing, and so they’ve switched to stainless steel flatware now. The rest of the place is still very nicely appointed, though.

Li Li is relaxing. When dining at Li Li, you somehow feel like you have the place all to yourself because there is an atmosphere of quiet solitude. Sounds from other diners are muted. There is no clanging din nor background murmuring noise from other diners. If you are an introvert needing some recharge time, consider dropping by Li Li.

Take advantage of their 15th Anniversary promo and enjoy the Dimsum-All-You-Can for only P915 nett.
