A Korean Egg Bomb Sandwich for less than P100?!

A Korean Cream Cheese Bun for less than P50?!

Yup, you can get your Korean snack fix at 7-Eleven for much, much less than ordering from other places. You also don’t need to pay for delivery fees – just head on over to the nearest 7-Eleven to buy your K-snacks! So easy and so convenient!

The convenience store giant launched their 7-Fresh K-Style Snacks, the Seoul-inspired line from its 7-Fresh Asian series.

There are currently 3 K-Style Snacks available:

  • K-Style Garlic Cream Cheese Bun (P49) made with buttery soft bun and generous special cream cheese garlic filling for the cheese lovers

  • K-Style Egg Drop Sandwich (P85) – the alltime favorite – with buttery brioche loaf bread, sweet and savory egg drop dressing, and made extra special with Aguila Gourmet Meats ham

  • The K-Style Plant-based Chicken Burger (P95) made with UnMEAT patties, pillowy buttery brioche bun, and authentic Korean glaze perfect for the health-conscious grubbers

When I heard about this, I went to our neighborhood 7-Eleven to buy some. After trying one each, we ended up going back to get some more! 😄

They keep in the refrigerator for a few days and they are really good when heated in the air fryer! The bread comes out toasty and crisp as if they were freshly-baked!

How are these K-Style Snacks?

My favorite has to be the Garlic Cream Cheese Bun – can you believe it’s only P49?! When Korean Cream Cheese Buns were the rage last year, prices were around P100 each, and more, for each bun. For only P49, 7-Eleven’s Garlic Cream Cheese Bun has abundant filling – you won’t feel like they were scrimping on the garlic cream cheese filling. I highly recommend heating this up in the air fryer or oven toaster instead of the microwave – it makes a big difference, and you’ll feel like you’re eating one of those P100 Korean cream cheese buns (but it’s only P49!).

My second recommendation is the Egg Bomb Sandwich – it’s only P85 (when other egg drop sandwich shops price them at least P120 for the most basic egg drop sandwich). 7-Eleven’s Egg Bomb Sandwich has a slice of ham, a slice of cheese, and a lot of egg filling. The carton helps when eating the sandwich and keeps it from falling apart because of all the fillings. Again, I suggest heating it in the air fryer or oven toaster for best results 🙂

The Plant-Based Chicken Burger is the heartier, but still light, offering. I didn’t really mind that it wasn’t real chicken. While I was eating it as a midnight snack while watching some K-drama, I knew it wasn’t real chicken but it was just like eating some chicken nuggets but in patty form. It tasted like eating a chicken burger from a fastfood place, but with less guilt. It’s a plant-based burger for less than P100!

These make awesome snacks to keep on hand for breakfast, merienda or snacks.

What I like about them is that they don’t taste overly processed and don’t have any chemical taste. They taste like normal food.

Each K-style snack is made with fresh ingredients to ensure their top quality and taste. They can be enjoyed individually or bought for groups of friends and family and are perfect to go with a K-drama binge watch or while listening to K-pop hits. They are also an ideal snack companion for busy students, office workers, and just about anyone who wants a Korean-inspired treat anytime of the day.

The introduction of 7-Fresh K-Style Snacks is 7-Eleven’s effort to expand its fresh selection for customers, while also responding to the growing Hallyu food trend which has become a hit in the Philippines and worldwide.
