I have been using Jeunesse Anion for about a year, and this is my honest review (it’s TMI!!!) based on my experience with it 🙂
There’s also a giveaway for my loyal readers!

What makes Jeunesse Anion Sanitary Napkins different?
The main thing that is different about Jeunesse Anion is the anion strip. Each pad has an anion strip embedded in the pad.
Basically, anions are abundant in places like waterfalls, the rainforest, and well, nature. Ever wonder why being in these places makes us feel better? It’s because of the anions. Anions make us feel refreshed, and some even say, improve our health. To know more about anions, you can also read this article.
Aside from anions, Jeunesse Anion sanitary napkins also use 100% breathable cotton. The pad is soft and doesn’t chafe on your skin.
Here are the 7 Layers of Protection you get when using Jeunesse Anion:
Before I started using Jeunesse Anion, I thought that only those who had dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps) benefited from it. And it’s true, I have heard from other women who swear by using Jeunesse Anion. They all say that their usual dysmenorrhea pain has disappeared, or at least, was reduced by a lot.
I don’t usually suffer from dysmenorrhea, so it was not a big issue for me. But ever since I started using Jeunesse Anion, I have never had dysmenorrhea at all. My problem is that I am irregular, and on some months, my periods would last a long time. The longest, I think, was 12 days. Namumutla na ako, jusko…
Women who suffer from PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) also claim to benefit from using Jeunesse Anion. They say the symptoms are not as severe.
My Jeunesse Anion Story
Okay, so enough about other women’s experiences using Jeunesse Anion. 🙂 Here’s my own experience:
When I first started using Jeunesse Anion, I didn’t feel anything different. I was even starting to get skeptical about the benefits. In fact, I noticed that my pad would fill up so quickly that it would overflow! I thought that the Jeunesse Anion pads were not holding enough liquid unlike other brands.
On heavy days, I would need to change my Jeunesse Anion pad almost every hour or every 2 hours! I was also starting to notice that my flow would be so strong when I stood up, or when I sneezed. I felt like I could be the source of a river of blood.
After a couple of months, I started to think, hey, maybe it’s me. I did notice that my flow was stronger. Maybe my flow really is stronger. So I actually did an experiment to see how much liquid a Jeunesse Anion pad can hold. I poured 1/4 cup of water first, and the pad absorbed it, no problem. Then I added another 1/4 cup of water (total of 1/2 cup), and the pad can still hold it without leaking!
I realized it wasn’t the pad that was the problem. I was putting out sooo much blood!
After a few more months, I realized that my flow had gotten really strong. But my periods had become shorter. Instead of the usual 7-8 days, my period now only lasted about 4-5 days.
Also, for some reason, I felt lighter. I just feel like all the stuff that should be ejected from my body had been ejected. Feeling ko nailabas yung lahat ng dapat na mailabas. Whereas before, after the heavy days, the last few days of my period would be really light flow of old-looking blood. After using Jeunesse Anion for some time, my body would release all the blood, and once all the blood has been released, that’s it. Done. There’s no trailing last few days of the period with spotty flow of leftover period blood.
The only downside is that for the 1-2 days of extremely heavy flow, I usually just choose to stay home. The bathroom is near and I can easily change clothes if there are accidents. If I must go out, I make sure to bring extra clothes and a lot of Jeunesse Anion pads for back up! It’s a small price to pay for the benefits – I really do feel better, and internally cleaner and lighter. When the period is over, it’s over. There are no lingering feelings of unease or discomfort or general malaise that I used to get sometimes. I can’t explain it, I just feel like Jeunesse Anion is “fixing” me. Hahaha.
During the period, the Jeunesse Anion pads really do work at minimizing odor. I also like the cotton cover. I used one of those napkins with dry-net cover before, and those really cause my skin to break out. So I really like Jeunesse Anion’s cotton cover, they don’t irritate my skin.
I guess Jeunesse Anion’s anion strip affects women differently. I heard one woman became regular, and another friend’s period got “fixed” – her period used to start, then stop for a few days, then start again, and now her period is normal.
It’s not magic. It doesn’t work overnight. But it works. For me, it took a few months to really see the effects.
Jeunesse Anion Sanitary Napkins are available at Watson’s and other select stores. You can also purchase online with free delivery via www.lazada.com.ph. Price range per pack is from P70 – 100, depending on the variant.
JEUNSESSE ANION SINGLES
Do you want to try Jeunesse Anion Sanitary Pads? If you are not ready to make a purchase for a whole pack of Jeunesse Anion, here’s some good news! You can now purchase individually packed and sealed single pads. Initially, only the Day Pad with Wings in Single Pack will be available, with the others coming soon, depending on customer demand.
Why Singles?
Singles are individually packed – you can take them anywhere, and they will be sanitary because they are sealed.
Purchase them “tingi” style – you may purchase a whole pack of singles for your own use, but the main targets of this style of packaging are the sari-sari stores and other small grocers. These retailers can now easily resell Jeunesse Anion sanitary pads to their patrons while ensuring that the pads are sealed and clean. This means, if you want to try Jeunesse Anion but don’t want to buy a whole pack just yet, you can just purchase one single pad for around P8.50!
Normally, to use Jeunesse Anion, you would have to purchase a whole pack. The price per pack would range from P70 – 100, depending on the variant.
When buying Jeunesse Anion from Lazada, you often have to purchase an entire set. The Jeunesse Anion Single Savers Set is also available from Lazada for P205 (24 pcs). If you don’t want to buy a whole set, ask your suking sari-sari store to start stocking the singles so you can just purchase them as needed!
