Since Guevarra’s opened in 2013, the one-of-a-kind heritage house restaurant has become a local landmark of sorts for those of us who live nearby.
It’s one of those places you can bring the family to on a whim, without making a big dent on your pocket, and where every person will surely find something to their liking. The buffet is P599/P699 per person, and there is a good spread of quality Filipino dishes:
They are known for their Kare Kare, Kaldereta, Grilled Beef Tapa, Charcoal-Roasted Lechon, Pugon-Roasted Pork Bellychon and Pugon-Roasted US Angus Beef Shortplate.
Other popular dishes are Tamarind and Lemongrass-Spiced Roast Chicken Sinampalukan which is best served with Kamote Salad, and Fried Chicken Adobo, Pansit Bihon Guisado, Pansit Canton Guisado, Palabok, and Party Spaghetti. I usually find myself getting second rounds of their Party Spaghetti 🙂
HANDAAN KAHIT SAAN
If you are craving for these dishes but don’t want to brave carmageddon, it is now possible to have these delivered!
Many of Guevarra’s popular dishes are now available in Party Trays, and can be picked up or delivered. Imagine what a relief it will be to be able to concentrate on getting ready for your gathering without slaving in the kitchen or worrying about the food!
If you’re heading to a potluck party, the dishes are packed and ready to take anywhere, too!
Here’s the Guevarra’s Handaan Kahit Saan Pricelist:
It’s very convenient when we’re busy making merry this Christmas season, but it’s also available year-round.
We recently had some dishes from Guevarra’s Handaan Kahit Saan delivered to our home. We got the Pancit Canton Guisado (for 12 – 15 pax) and the Brigaderos Cake.
I was not expecting both to be so heavy but they were! The tray of Pancit Canton Guisado was very heavy. The Brigaderos chocolate cake was equally heavy, as well!

The only thing missing was some calamansi, but luckily, we had some available. For P848, this is a substantial dish that will satisfy your guests. We all know it’s not a Pinoy party without pancit canton!
The Brigaderos Cake is a chocolate cake with natilla filling, iced with chocolate fudge, covered in chocolate sprinkles, and topped with brigadeiro balls (Brazilian Fudge Balls). This is a heavy cake. The cake itself is almost black from the cocoa used, not too crumbly, not too dense, but the fudge icing is sweet and heavy. A little goes a long way, although it is not nakakaumay. 😀
Guevarra’s Handaan Kahit Saan items can be picked up from Chef Laudico Guevarra’s at 387 P. Guevarra corner Argonne Streets, Addition Hills, San Juan or sent through the various delivery services available such as Grab and Lalamove.
