GoodGood – Ximending Milk Tea Shop Opens in Banawe

GoodGood is a milk tea brand in the trendy Ximending district of Taipei that is becoming very popular for their fruity blends.

I was invited to the opening of their newest branch in Banawe. This is their 5th branch and is located in 949 Banawe St., Quezon City (just a few feet from the original King Chef).

This branch is on the smaller side with only a few tables.

I was able to talk with the Taiwanese owner and one of the owners of the Philippine franchise. So in Taiwan, GoodGood has a loyal customer base who patronize it for their healthy drinks. The Taiwanese owner is really into healthy eating, and the drinks he serves follow his philosophy – he makes sure to use real fruit and real, fresh milk (not the tetra pak, UHT kind). Here in the Philippines, GoodGoodPH also uses real fruit and sources their fresh milk locally – actually, out of all the milk suppliers they considered, only ONE passed their standards! They won’t tell me who, though Secret daw!

So, being that the actual Taiwanese owner himself told me all about their popular fruit drinks, of course, I had to try them! He said that he is 40+ years old (really?? He looked like he was in his 20’s!!!) and the secret was drinking his fruit blends daily! He said 90% of GoodGood’s regular customers are women, who drink the fruity beverages to get their daily dose of beauty-enhancing vitamins, minerals & anti-oxidants. He even claimed that drinking one order per day of his fruit drinks won’t cause you to gain weight.

So what are these popular GoodGood drinks?

Here’s their menu. On average, price is around P120 – P160.

Their bestsellers are the Triple B (Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea) and the Double B (Brown Sugar Boba Milk). However, I recommend their fruitier concoctions like the Strawberry Blonde and the Summer Set, but you can’t go wrong with any of their smoothies and juices.
