Golden Fortune Seafood Restaurant also has a Dimsum promo where dimsum is only at P48 (and up).
In Binondo, at their Soler Branch, the Merienda Madness is from2pm-5:30pm. Their Midnight Delight Promo is from 9pm – 1am at the Soler Branch, and 9pm-12am at their Kalaw Branch.
Their dimsum is one of the better ones in Chinatown and when I am in the area, it is a good choice for merienda and/or a midnight snack. If you are the type who prefers a better ambience, go to their T.M. Kalaw branch instead. It is a newer branch, is bigger, and parking is easier than in Binondo.
They also have other promos like the Shabu-Shabu promo. I haven’t tried it though. I always go for the dimsum! Their dimsum is classic Binondo fare and I like their dimsum better than the ‘other’ usual Binondo dimsum takeout place. This is my default when going for dimsum in Binondo – and I always get my usual — spareribs, hakaw, nu mai fan (the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves), and hofan and raddish cake if available. My best friend gushed about their soy sauce, it’s funny. Their soy sauce is sweet and you just want to drink it. It makes all the dimsum taste better.
Aside from their dimsum, their a la carte dishes are also pretty good. I am very difficult to please when it comes to food and I am always pretty happy with their food whenever I’m there. Service is good, we always get a free dessert, too! If you encounter any problems, it seems like one of the owners is always there to help.
And if you are the type who likes taking home food for the family, I believe you can take out their dimsum at promo prices during their promo hours too! Arrgh, this post is making me hungry…
