Yesterday kicked off the start of Go Gangnam!, Novotel Manila Araneta Center’s one week only Korean buffet.

GO GANGNAM! A K-FOOD FESTIVAL

Novotel flew in Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam Chef Jong-Man Kim to share his Korean masterpieces from February 21 to 27 ONLY.

This festival is in partnership with Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam, Embassy of the Republic of Korea, and the Korean Cultural Center.

Lunch started with a cultural dance performed by the Korean Cultural Center:

THE BUFFET

Food Exchange Manila’s buffet spread is basically the same as the Valentine’s buffet that I reviewed here, with the addition of the Korean spreads and dishes.

I’ll concentrate on the Korean offerings here, you can check out the rest of the buffet in my previous review. The different dishes and food stations like the Japanese station, Indian station, pizzas, breads, and desserts are ALL STILL AVAILABLE in the buffet. The buffet also comes with unlimited coffee or tea.

Here is the grilling station. Don’t forget to get some of the Korean sauces available like the Korean Sesame Sauce, Doenjiang, Gojuchang, etc… 

Today, we had Kimchi rice. Bibimbap is also available on other days.

I suggest making the experience your own – talk to the chefs and ask them what goes well with what, ask them if they have any recommendations, and if there are some dishes that you can request them to cook for you. You will enjoy the buffet more this way.

The buffet starts at P1,488 nett for weekday lunch, up to P1,888 nett for weekend dinner.
