It’s the start of a new year! Everyone is hopeful for better things to come next year. We make New Year’s Resolutions to excite us into improving. We make plans and hope that we will be able to push ourselves next year to reach our goals.
But the best way to reach those goals is to start the following year with A PLAN. Otherwise, you’d just be coasting along, reacting to wherever the wind takes you.
I’ve been through this so many times, doing a lot of trial and error. This year, I thought I would make a guide for myself to help me have a better year next year. It’s something new and I hope I can improve on this every year. If you have any suggestions, I’m open to hearing them, so please feel free to leave a comment!
Here’s a list of things I need to do before the New Year rolls in:
- Make a plan for 2015 – What do I want to do? What are my goals? How will I achieve them?
- Set up my Planner
- Organize my daily bag
- Clean my room / desk / etc…
- Clean my email inboxes
- Set up new habits and routines, get rid of old, unproductive habits
- Do general New Year prep / follow superstitions
By doing these things, I hope to ensure a more successful year ahead!
