Last month, I started using the Etude House Pink Vital Water set.

The set includes a trial size each of:
- Facial Toner
- Serum
- Emulsion
- Cream
The packaging is very cute!
USAGE AND REVIEW
The way I used it is:
- Toner – with cotton, just out of habit, because toner means applying with cotton LOL 😀
- Serum – using fingers
- Emulsion – using fingers
- Cream – using fingers
I let each product be absorbed first before continuing to the next one.
The products have a pleasant floral peach fragrance. I like the scent. The products are easy to apply and easily melt into the skin. They actually feel light, not sticky nor heavy on the skin.
At first, I made the effort to use the 4 products for my day skin care routine and for my night skin care routine. The results were nice – my skin feels smooth and looks hydrated every morning.
But after a few days, the 4 steps were just too much for me. It’s not the products’ fault. On some days, I just don’t have the time or I get lazy after a long day and just don’t want to do the 4-step routine anymore. So, sometimes, I find myself reaching for my other moisturizers which only take 1 step or 2 steps max. It doesn’t seem like a big effort now, but when you’re tired and just want to get your skincare over with so you can plop on the bed and watch Netflix until you get sleepy, it just feels like too much! 😀
However, I did not want to skip steps, like, just use the Pink Vital Water Cream and skip the other 3. I wanted to use them equally so that they would get used up at the same time.
RESULTS
First of all, I did not use this as consistently as I should have, as I’ve mentioned above. Doing the 4 steps after a long day is sometimes too much for me.
But, on the nights that I did use it, my skin would look fresh and feel smooth the next morning. It is not as plumping as the Moistfull Collagen, which is kind of heavy duty for a moisturizer, but it hydrates my skin without feeling sticky and makes it feel fresh.
I could use the Pink Vital Water set without any problem at all if I had never used a heavier moisturizer before like the Moistfull Collagen, which I find is better suited to my skin type.
If I had to pick, out of the 4 products, I’d choose the toner and the cream to buy full size. I would probably use them for daytime since they feel light on the skin, and continue using my heavier moisturizers for night time.
But if I were to use the Pink Vital Water set alone without pairing it with heavier moisturizers at night, it would probably work better for me if I was in my teens or 20s 🙂
If your skin doesn’t need a heavy-duty moisturizer, you might want to try the Etude House Pink Vital Water line. 🙂
