Etude House, the Korean cosmetic chain, had a 20% off on all products last Oct. 31 – Nov. 2, 2014, called their Great Princess Sale!
I ran out of my favorite Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream months ago. I’ve already gone through 2 jars and I still love it. But I’m currently using up an old bottle of Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion and I really miss the Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream.
So while at SM Megamall last weekend, (again! seems like it’s my favorite place to be), I sought out the Etude House branch and planned to hoard 2 jars of the stuff.
But woe of woes, it was out of stock! It has been out of stock for months now. I remember looking for it back in July or August and it was out of stock then, and it’s still out of stock now. I was so looking forward to hoarding some! 20% off of P848.00 is P170! If I buy 2 jars, I’ll save P340! As well as get 2 free small bottles of Moistfull Collagen Essence (part of the package). Sad 🙁
Not wanting to leave empty-handed, I asked the sales lady if there was an alternative to the Moistfull Collagen Cream. She asked me to try the Moistfull Collagen Emulsion instead. It’s in the same line as the Moistfull Collagen Cream that I liked, but it’s lighter than the cream.
The Etude House Moistfull Collagen Emulsion comes in a big bottle of 180ml. That’s about as much product as a typical shampoo bottle. I think it would last me about as long, if not longer, than the cream. The cream usually lasts me about 6 months. The Moistfull Collagen Emulsion is priced at P728.00, but with the 20% off, I was able to get it at only P582.40!
I also bought a tube of concealer. It’s the Surprise Essence Concealer #1 in Light Beige. Regular price is P298.00, with the 20% discount, it was only P238.40!
I was sorely tempted to buy a tube of CC Cream too. But I still have a tube of partially used The Face Shop Bijin BB Cream and another tube of Skin 79 VIP Gold BB Cream that I want to use up first.
Etude House always has freebies. For buying at least P500 worth of goods, they gave me a free Fresh Cherry Tint sample sachet.
I can’t wait for the next Etude House sale! I hope they have the Moistfull Collagen Cream in stock next time!
