So, the other day, we did some grocery shopping at S&R and I found these ribs on promo with FREE breakfast sausage:
This was on sale at P899.95 (with free breakfast sausage). We have tried this before and we really liked it! I heard the promo will only be until this week! So, hurry and get it before it’s gone!
We are able to get good BBQ ribs in the comfort of our home, with minimal effort, and it’s less expensive than if we were to order ribs at a restaurant. This is the reason I am seldom impressed with the ribs being served at chain restaurants at expensive prices (from P500-900 for a single order)! For only P900, 5 of us get our fill of delicious barbecue ribs with this!
Easy to Prepare
This is very easy to prepare! You can bake it, grill it or microwave it. We prefer to bake it just because it’s easier and less messy. Also, we’re not big fans of microwaving food (except for reheating).
I kept the ribs in the refrigerator (not the freezer) for a day, so it would thaw.
Here are the cooking instructions!
To bake this in the oven, I just need to transfer the ribs to aluminum foil. Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
Cut a piece of aluminum foil long enough to fit the ribs:
Transfer the ribs to the foil. Try to get all the yummy bbq sauce onto the ribs!
Cover with another sheet of aluminum foil and seal.
It’s ready to bake!
We prefer to bake it at 350 F for 1 and a half hours! This is twice the baking time recommended, but we really want our ribs to be falling off the bone tender. When we baked it for only 45 minutes, we were not satisfied with the tenderness. That’s why we bake it for 1 1/2 hours.
Close-ups!
Here it is falling off the bone! Sorry, I was already eating my way through the ribs but just had to take a picture!
You can partner these ribs with some rustic mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, etc…), but we were just having rice and some steamed vegetables.

I did something real stupid. So the question I’m going to ask is stupid, but I just need to know.
I bought your awesome ribs……I forgot them in the back of the car – for 3 days! So, they need to be thrown away?
