Do your clothes look worn very quickly?
One of the reasons I avoid buying very expensive clothes is because I know that my clothes will look old and worn just after a few months of frequent wear. I used to just accept that clothes look tired after some use and that there’s really nothing I can do about it. And because of that, I have avoided wearing my favorite clothes for fear that they will start to look old faster. I even have “good” clothes that are nice and “cheap” clothes that I wear more often even if I don’t really like them because I don’t mind if they get ruined.
But really, that’s no way to live, is it? The whole point of buying the clothes is so that I can wear what I like whenever I want to! It’s more of a waste of money if I buy the clothes but only end up using them a few times out of fear, and then they get out of style or don’t fit well anymore. To get our money’s worth, we really should wear our favorite clothes as much as we want to! 🙂
COMFORT CARE TO THE RESCUE!
But what if there’s now a solution to that conundrum? Unilever has recently launched the Comfort Care range of premium laundry products:
There are two variants available: Glamour Care (pink) and Casual Care (blue).
It claims to fight the 5 SIGNS OF CLOTHES AGING:
- color fading
- shape loss
- bobbling (himulmul)
- yellowing
- roughness
When used together, Comfort’s Fabric Cleaning products prevent clothes aging, while Comfort’s Fabric Conditioning products maintain or bring clothes close to their original state.
During the launch, we were shown side by side comparisons of items that were washed with other detergents vs. Comfort.
We’ve been using Comfort with our washing machine for a few weeks now and so far, so good. I feel like my clothes are soft, they look good, and at the very least, I have not noticed any color fading or himulmul on newer clothes. The Comfort detergents also smell great!
I am using the blue powder detergent and the liquid detergents. I transferred the blue powder detergent to a container for easier dispensing, and I just cut out the label and taped it to the container 🙂

I also placed a container of Comfort powder detergent in the bathroom for those times when I need to hand wash something – ladies, you know what I’m talking about! 🙂 So far, I think Comfort cleans very well and dirt / blood is removed quickly without any stains. Since this is something that I personally hand wash, that’s what I really noticed when using Comfort – there’s less effort needed to wash out new stains 🙂 This means less kuskos and less strain on the clothes, keeping them looking good for longer!
So now, there’s no more reason to stop us from wearing our favorite clothes (except weight changes 
)!
