CHERRY FOODARAMA REOPENS!

It has been more than a year since Cherry Foodarama Shaw moved to their new location along Shaw Blvd., and many of its loyal customers eagerly awaited their reopening. The new location is still very near its previous location, so loyal shoppers won’t have to go far to enjoy shopping at Cherry again!

Yesterday, at 3PM, Cherry Shaw reopened its doors to the public!

I was invited to check it out and was overwhelmed by the number of fans and shoppers excited to get a look at the new Cherry.

Xian Lim was there to grace the event and gamely took pictures with fans.

People also filled the supermarket to take advantage of sales and promos!

Cherry Foodarama Shaw and Congressional are now under the management of SM Markets. The reopened Cherry stores promise to deliver excellent customer service and a wider range of products. The old stores got much needed makeovers to keep up with the times and to continue serving its loyal shoppers.

For Cherry Foodarama Shaw, the supermarket is located on the ground floor. The second floor has a small food court and shops.

Parking is ample, and I like that it was well-spaced. There are 2 parking levels. The parking entrance is located on the side street, while you can exit the parking onto Shaw Blvd. Parking is free for now, as far as I know.

There are elevators for those who may need them.

There is a mural near the entrance highlighting Cherry’s 63-year history. It’s so nostalgic!

If you were a patron of Cherry Foodarama, you’ll know that Cherry has always been known for having unique, imported items. SM Cherry Shaw has a wide selection of Tesco items, as well. Here are some of the unique and hard to find items I saw:

Carnation Malted Milk:

Jack Daniel’s Mustards! There’s Honey Dijon, Horseradish, and Old No. 7. Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard is also available. You know I love my mustards!
