I got lucky and was able to buy a Charles & Keith wallet at 40% OFF!
So I was walking around in Greenbelt 5 earlier this afternoon when I saw almost all the shops had SALE signs up. Charles & Keith were near the escalators so I noticed them and took a look around.
I have been looking for a new wallet to replace my old pink Nine West South Beach wallet. Ack, the leather on that thing started disintegrating a few months ago after almost 3 years of good use. It just saddened me that this particular Nine West wallet did this. The “leather” started peeling off. I have other old Nine West canvas + leather wallets which are still quite usable even after years and years of use and several washings, too! The South Beach wallet was bought here at Nine West SM Megamall, and the more “matibay” Nine West wallets were bought in the US. Hmmm…
Since I switched back to one of my older Nine West wallets, looking for a new wallet just wasn’t a priority. But since I was already at Charles & Keith, I looked around and saw this wallet, checked the price, and saw that it had a big discount! It wasn’t spectacularly eye-catching, but then, plus points for it being plain, without all the buckles that seem to be the design rage recently. I hate those wallets with buckles — they just snag on things…

Original price was around P1,999. That was 40% OFF!
It also had many pocket and card slots, always a plus! There are 3 long pockets and 14, fourteen! card slots! I like that they did not waste the space on the top flap and added pockets there, too.
There was another zip around wallet that was also on sale for P1,199, but it did not have as many card slots as this.
Anyway, so I bought this Charles & Keith wallet right away, before it was gone 
Will just convince J to give it to me as one of my birthday presents, haha. My birthday presents from him have become the buy-what-you-like-then-just-bill-me type of thing now. It’s just easier and saves our sanity — I get what I want, he doesn’t get any stress. LOL. I just let him know that hey, he bought me this or that! Hahaha. He’s the type of guy who doesn’t have a clue about any of this, so this is better than him getting the wrong thing and wasting money.
