AIA MED-ASSIST FOR CHILDREN
AIA Philam Life has a new product called AIA Med-Assist for children. It is a variable life insurance plan with a medical benefit rider designed to address medical expenses due to hospitalization of 0-17 year olds.
It covers 90% of in-patient hospitalization and other medical expenses.

We had an online talk show with new parents Nico Bolzico and Solenn Heussaff, and Cebu-based Kryz and Slater Young. Both couples have month-old babies whom they go crazy over trying to protect them from everything, especially in our current pandemic!
They shared how much they want to protect their babies from everything, but also knowing that they can’t. So for extra protection, they took out insurance for themselves and also for their babies.
We also heard the story of Philam Life’s CEO, Kelvin Ang, and understood why he was so passionate about making sure that people are protected with insurance. His father passed away when he was 14 years old. His mother was a housewife, and he had 4 other siblings to take care of. His father didn’t have insurance, and his passing left the family in dire straits. It would have been so different if his father had gotten some insurance so that the family would not have been in financial trouble after his passing.
Insurance is actually a product that would give you peace of mind about the people you will leave behind. Nobody wants to go, but if something happens, you know that they won’t be left out in the cold.
