I know a lot of people have been thinking about getting one of these coffee pod machines. You might be happy to know that the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Piccolo model is on sale at 50% OFF! It’s now only P2,249.95!

And I was very happy to find this 5-quart Crock Pot Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Lid! As someone who loves to cook, I have been waiting for an opportunity to get a ceramic cast iron pan for myself. So imagine my happiness when I stumbled upon this on sale! And it’s in an aqua blue color, too! It’s also available in red. It’s now only P1,499.95 (was P1,999.95)! I checked online and found it selling for around US $50! So yay, this is a steal!
Cast iron dutch ovens are great for making stews and slow cooking something over low heat for a long time. They heat evenly and consistently (no hot spots!). The cast iron retains a lot of heat. It saves money by letting you use less gas. Even if you turn off the stove, the food will still keep cooking for a while! I was originally pining for a Le Creuset Dutch Oven, but I think this Crock Pot one will do much better because of the glass lid – this means I don’t have to open the lid to see how the cooking is doing.

This 6-quart Oster Cantaura Pressure Cooker is also on 50% OFF! It’s now only P1,249.95! If you are looking for a new pressure cooker, check this out! I think Oster is a good brand – we’ve been using Oster blenders for years. This pressure cooker is smaller than the regular-sized pressure cookers, but I think it’s just the right size if you’re cooking for a family of 4-6 people.
